Nutritionist and Office Coordinator
Over the last 30 years, Carol has worked extensively in the dental field with her husband, Dr. Bennett. Since 2016 she has been Dr. Bennett's only staff member. She provides crucial administrative support and coordinates treatment for patients. Carol is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Clinical Nutritionist. She recognizes and emphasizes the connection between diet and the nutritional status of the dental patient. She is a conventionally trained registered dietitian through the American Dietetic Association as well as a progressively trained certified clinical nutritionist through the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition in 1977. Her post graduate dietetic internship was completed at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She is a Certified GAPS™ practitioner as well as a Certified Gluten Free Coach™.
Carol also maintains her own nutrition counseling practice in which she provides progressive nutritional care for autoimmune conditions, intestinal issues, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic pain, food allergies, GAPS™, celiac disease, IBS, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, weight loss, and dental conditions. Her passion is helping people become healthier through personalized nutrition consultations based on their health history and blood chemistry. She loves working with her clients providing nutrition support and helping at the dental office.
